CT is capturing images through an x-ray tube that rotates 360 degrees around the patient. These are very detailed images that help in diagnosing what is going on and how to fix it.
Bone Density is the amount of bone mineral in bone tissue. By getting a Bone Density scan, we can determine if there are any risk factors for bone mineral loss or osteoporosis.
Magnetic Resonance Imaging is a way of acquiring images without radiation, instead MRI uses a very large magnet to acquire these images. Here at ECMC, we offer mobile MRI services evert Friday afternoon.
Ultrasounds are used for identifying any issues in the abdomen/pelvis, veins, arteries and the thyroid. Every Thursday, the mobile Ultrasound services operates from 9am-4:30pm
Mammograms are used to identify any breast cancers, lesions, masses or lumps. We offer this services once a month.
Nuclear Medicine is a way of using small amounts of radiation chemicals to identifying how your organs are functioning and their structure. With Nuclear Medicine’s special camera, doctors and physicians receive detailed images of the organs we are scanning.
